The Culturally Competent Care Package, including the new Culturally Competent Care Guidebook and Cultural Competency Challenge CD-ROM, offers an enjoyable and educational experience to enhance your ability to effectively communicate with and treat an ethnically diverse patient population.

Developed by the AAOS Diversity Advisory Board, the Cultural Competency Challenge helps gauge your cultural care IQ through the presentation of 18 interactive patient cases and 90 multiple choice questions. The Cultural Competency Challenge makes a great teaching tool for residents and medical students.

Disparities of care are well documented. Health care delivery should not be affected by race, creed, or gender. These cultural competency education programs are part of the AAOS Diversity Advisory Board's plan to provide engaging experiences that give you the tools to meet the demands of today's changing population. It's one step in your commitment to providing quality care to every patient you see.
