Installing ISYS Search and Running OKU 1-9 – Windows version only
- Insert the CD-ROM disc into the appropriate drive, it should autorun, if not, double-click start.exe in the root directory of the CD.
- The OKU 1-9 start menu gives you three choices: Run OKU 1-9, Install Adobe Acrobat Reader, and Install ISYS Search Program.
- Install Adobe Acrobat Reader, if necessary.
- Install ISYS Search Program by following the prompts.
- Use Run OKU 1-9 to browse volumes and chapters.
- Open the ISYS Search program by Start/All Programs/ISYS Search Software 8/ISYS Query to search the OKU 1-9 database.
- The ISYS Search program will prompt you to Select an ISYS Index. Click the Disk Directory tab, locate your CD-ROM drive in the Directory window, locate and select INDEX on the OKU 1-9 CD, click OK.
Adobe Acrobat chapters display – Mac version only
- After opening the StartOKU.pdf file, click on any of the nine OKU volumes to view the Table of Contents of your selected volume.
- Check that Preferences are set to open each chapter in a new window. In the menu bar click on Adobe –> Preferences –> Documents –> uncheck the button for "Open cross-document links in same window".
- To navigate within a chapter, use the page down/up key or the left/right arrows in the menu bar to move forward and backwards.
